"Have you ever heard of carpet in a can? It’s called paint. Rustoleum gray oil base paint to be exact, and it works great. Two gallons at about $25.00 per gallon should do the trick. Simply roll out all the bedroom floors, the hallway and steps and you’re done. The floors are restored for $50 bucks! Unless you want a high pile from your carpet in a can, that would be two coats of paint! (joke) Your floors may look like the floors of a navy battleship when you’re done, but they will look clean and you will save some cash..."

I’ll give you a David Letterman top 10 reasons why I hate installing carpeting:
#10. Mom, I spilled my glass of Hawaiian Punch all over the living room carpet.“Don’t worry about it, baby, it’s the landlord’s carpet”.
#7. How often do you think they will have the Chem-Dry guy over the house for a cleaning? Let me give you a hint – What comes before number one?
#6. God forbid, they sneak a pet into your property. You can evict the tenant, but you won’t be evicting the fleas or the cat piss smell anytime soon.
#2. It’s too expensive of an investment for possibly only a 3 year return. AND THE #1 REASON
WHY I HATE INSTALLING CARPETS IS..."
