Wrapping it Up

Also, we got rich in the end because the properties we were buying for $10,000.00 to $20,000.00 back in 1998 quadrupled in value by 2005. We sold our entire portfolio to one investor for millions!

Maybe we got lucky, but like I said earlier in this book, you create your own luck. If neither one of us didn’t take a gamble, a chance on bettering our lives, we would have never acquired as many homes as we did; nor would we have been around when the property values skyrocketed..."
